A group of around twenty major French partners from research and industry, hardware solutions vendors and industrial users of embedded AI, have come together to focus their combined skills on designing the Eclipse AIDGE software platform.
Guaranteed sovereignty for embedded AI!
Embedding AI in intelligent systems raises many issues around sovereignty, because such deployment requires overall control of a complex value chain for which we wish to achieve strategic software and hardware autonomy.
The DeepGreen consortium is taking up this challenge by developing a dedicated embedded AI platform, as well as a set of demonstrators to promote sovereign technologies, including the platform core, which originated in the CEA LIST N2D2 tool for deep neural networks.
By building alternative and independent solutions for frugal and trusted AI, the DeepGreen initiative is integral to Digital Responsibility and is helping to consolidate the digital sovereignty of France and the wider Europe.
